Our Goals

We are a people-focused, purpose-driven company with a commitment to global health, accessibility to food and medicines, and safety and freedom for all.

Our corporate responsibility efforts focus on both local and global efforts in service of these goals.

We Support Time Off to Vote

At CURE, we give our employees a paid day off so they can participate in the election process that is essential to a democratic society. We believe that employees shouldn’t have to choose between earning a paycheck and voting.

Time To Vote is a nonpartisan movement, led by the business community, to contribute to the culture shift needed to increase voter participation in our country’s elections.

CURE is part of a group of 600+ companies that want to contribute to the culture shift needed to increase voter participation in our country’s elections.

Committed to the permanent eradication of child sex trafficking with Operation Underground Railroad

CURE is a corporate sponsor of Operation Underground Railroad (OUR). Founded in December 2013, OUR exists to save children from sex trafficking.

OUR’s Ops Team consists of former CIA, past and current law enforcement, and highly skilled operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world.

A Global Healthcare Awareness Initiative with United Smart Cities

CURE was founded on the principles of affordability and global accessibility of medications. We are driven to finding healthcare solutions for people of all ages and demographics and partnered with United Smart Cities in service to this cause. Our mutual goal is to invigorate health and elevate living standards through education and sustainable new technologies.

Recognizing escalating healthcare costs, CURE and United Smart Cities will seek to promote education and innovation in delivering cost-effective and sustainable treatments to the world’s population.

The United Smart Cities program is a global multi-stakeholder initiative, established by the Organization for International Economic Relations (OiER) in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and other international organizations, cities, industries and finance sectors.

The aim of the United Smart Cities program is to evaluate cities’ performances and set priorities for action, develop analysis of cities (city profiles), support strategies in terms of urban planning and priorities (action plan), project development, finance options, and investors’ engagement in cooperation with urban experts and the private sector.

Our Sustainability Efforts

  • At CURE Pharmaceutical, we strive to improve the company’s eco-friendliness by leveraging the benefits of our oral thin film technology. We work to reduce process steps, lower energy consumption, reduce the use of water, lower the volume waste streams, and streamline production with concurrent filling and finishing. These efforts reduce the number of parts rejections by improving consistency.
  • CURE’s processes leverage a proprietary platform technology that greatly reduces waste with development and commercial tech transfer times with right-first-time results. We reduce this waste by establishing critical processing controls that are highly leveraged between products, eliminating costly and unnecessary sterilization equipment, reducing processing steps that can introduce third-party containers and closures, reducing cleaning validation, and improving fast product transfers.
  • The CURE process capacity is flexible and is easily tailored to a wide range of products and dosages. We designed our process equipment to use a semi-continuous curing and converting process, so we can be run longer for larger lots, as opposed to the batch process with the equipment. Because of modularity, our process is very scalable if mega lot sizes are required. In addition, the process lends itself to variable lot sizes, so a single scale can produce both small and larger lots with few considerations. This directly results in reduced energy consumption and allows for less staff to operate commercial processes.
  • CURE’s development and manufacturing footprint is extremely compact when compared to traditional equipment pharma production facilities. This results in less space requirements as well as fewer process steps than traditional pharma manufacturing.
  • CURE is considered a small waste generator as regulated by the EPA and local municipalities. CURE technology is aqueous-based and waste byproducts are neutral, thus reducing hazardous waste streams.
  • One of the ways CURE differentiates its position in the drug delivery and dietary supplement space is by reducing scrap production even further while also reducing the amount of materials, which is a focus for regulatory body mandates.
  • Our customization and flexibility around the production of the strips helps avoid unnecessary scrap or additional investments with new product introductions or product life cycle changes. This results in high Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) – a measurement of how well a manufacturing operation is utilized (facilities, time and material) compared to its full potential.
  • Our primary package containing product is engineered for single-use dispensing and can be densely stacked for highly efficient transport into distribution markets.
  • Shipping conditions are ambient, thus avoiding complicated and environmentally unfriendly ‘cool-chain’ insulated shippers.
  • CURE is investing in its IT solutions in an effort to go paperless with financial, quality and laboratory systems. We also have added local automation to major process equipment to reduce operator interventions, thus reducing operator errors and improving process/product reliability. This reduces our carbon footprint with less paper and maximizes the potential with each CURE staff member.
